Greetings fellow cyber-junkies. It has been a long time, hasn't it? My life is pretty un-eventful during the summer. I haven't gone on any crazy adventures because I am a slave to the man. I have become a tool, and go figure, I'm working at a hardware store. Sorry it has taken so long for this update. At we have a dial up connection and it takes so much to get on the internet and lets be honest im lazy.

Nothing much is new with me to date. Im still with a wonderful girl ;), got a new AIM name (Galzord)and I will be bringing my dad's car up to school in the fall. This fall is going to be so fun!!! I miss all the SAU crew. The T1 is going to be the sweetest house on campus.

Well that all that I can think of. Can't wait to see you all agian and I will see you soon!!!!

I think this is one of my titles that don't make any sense at all...

I haven't updated in a long time and appologize to all the die hard viewers. To tell you the truth, I have spent the last week saving the world from utter distruction. First, I had to travel to Germany to track down the clone of Hitler. When I found him he was the process of cloning Stalin. They weren't planning any massive geniocides or invading any country. They were planning a reality show for FOX. Which would be more distructive then any atomic bomb. After I distroyed them, I went and took care of Panda cubs in China. If it wasn't for me, the Pandas would have surely taken over China and then the world. Lastly, distroyed some astroids that threaten this very planet. So I was pretty busy...

But seriously, i've had a great week. I started my spring semester and my classes are great. I share all my worship classes with the wonderful Del or the IV. I also found out that I share my philosophy class with a really awesome lady ;) and that was totally on accident ;) I also have gotten closer with God last couple of weeks. I haven't been this in tune with God ever. It's been really cool and I can't wait for whats to come.

The dance is Friday. I wonder what I will. I hope it matches whatever Emilee wears. Maybe I will wear my gold jump suit... oh wait, I like haveing a girlfriend. Gentlemen show on Saturday, thats going to be fun. I enjoy watching my boys scream.

Week from today is Fiddler starts up. Lets just say im not looking forward to it because we aren't ready and what it sounds like the actors are ready either... Oh well

I feel like I have been such a lazy person for the last couple of weeks... oh wait, I have been. I didn't take a J-term class and I have done nothing but sit on my rump and done nothing productive. Except doing Fiddler, work, and most importantly perventing the world from ending(thanks Emilee)Who would have thought that I had it in me... Flowers and a bridge

Tonight was really awesome!!! It started off with going over to Muffitt and attending a knitting party. Everybody on campus in knitting and I think I should hop on that bandwagon. At 8:00 the O.C started up... I love that show. The story line this season is really messed up and weird and on its present direction its only going to get weirder. Oh well. After that, Emilee and I went over to see the Delta posse. Amy has a wonderful new dew that really suits her well. Then we went in to Yeager and Mandi's room and we saw how truly horny Disney animators really are and then watched the Best of Will Farrell... again.

When open hours were over Emilee and I talked about the book we are reading. We taked about was cool about what we read the previous night and how we can see it played out in our lives. And that was the coolest thing I did this evening. This is also one of the reasons why I am excited that Emilee is my girlfriend! She is so on fire for the Lord and she has such a good heart... and her personality is pretty awesome too. I am very happy with the direction of this relationship is going because its Christ centered and I like it. This will be a fun ride!!! Because of her awesomeness it makes me think of this song...

Im looking at pictures from my cabin. The picture is this: crystal clear lake and with a sunset in the background. Its a comforting look into what is to come. As in 7:30 in the evening, 75 degrees, and a sunset in the backgound painting yellowish-orange streaks on the water and the sky. Can't wait.

Its funny how one (or many) incident(s) can make people upset. Also how people (myself included)can fly off the handle about silly jokes. What I am trying to say is this: thanks to those who took my side on this whole ordeal and also thanks for the apologizes. I know it was all a joke but it just got old. I also hope that we all can just forget about this whole thing and maybe have a laugh or two about it sometime. I forgive all and hope that we all can be like we were this time last semester. I love my brothers!!!!

Note to self: When I have little children, I hope that they aren't out of control. That would just drive me insane...

Well I have been working out the past couple of day. Its been awesome and I have already seen the fruits of my labor. I now can fit in a size 38 waist now. Im pretty excited about that. There is another reason why Im doing this too. I want to put this whole belly button thing behind me. I can't wait until I don't have this stomache so I don't have to worry about doing it ever again. I much rather be remembered as Jon the musician and not Jon the belly button guy. When I saw the replay for the first time I realized that I will never live that down and that fat hairy stomach will haunt me for the rest of my life. I will always hear "can you do that trick?" Its been worst, I use to be fit a plastic card table cover there too. (Thankfully I can't do that anymore)... I don't know, I just want to get this behind me.

I have had a WONDERFUL last couple of weeks. I think im on my way to preventing the world from imploding on itself (refer to the first part of the journal entry from Oct 24 2004 but not the engagement part but the other part)

But I wish I got my slow dance in... oh well

Well its late and I have to wake up early for my class... oh wait...

I had a pretty good Christmas break. I spent a lot of time hanging out with friends, eating White Castle, and giving my mom a hard time, I love her to death. Also got to know people better, that was the best part of my break. This Christmas was the nerd Christmas for me, I got Return of the King Extended Edition and the Star Wars DVD box set. I don't care I love those movies. I also got a chance to sing in the church choir for the Christmas Eve service which was fun.

New Years was fun, it wasn't as fun as it could have been. While my friends were partying it up back home I was in Iowa shooting my sister with Air Soft guns, don't worry she also had a gun too and she was shooting. But it was fun, I brought in the New Year with Conan O'Brian that was really fun, I love that guy!!!

Lets see... what else...?

Oh yeah, I get back from break, can't wait till I can hang out with my Ormston brotherean, but to come back to stupid rules and people just being jerks... enought said

Well when I stept off the train on Saturday my hands came this close to falling right off. The current air temperature was 2 degrees and a wind chill of -10 me thinks... but it was good. I think that Michigan made me soft when it comes to these things, but Im slowly getting used to it. I love this state.... and Colorado.

I spent the last two days at college. no, not at the faithful Arbor, but at University of Wisconsin: Stout. It was fun, me and my friend Aaron just laid around and did nothing while friend Matt was busy finishing an art project. Something that was really weird was that they don't have open hours. The whole day was open hours. It was weird on Monday morning, just after I woke up, a girl walked into Matt's room. I wasn't dressed and lets just say it was really weird. Also girls were walking by the room at all hours of the day. Matt and Aaron gave me a hard time about it because they didn't understand. Oh well....

What else is new... I was informed over Thanksgiving break that I had to pick out music for a church service. I did and when I told the lady what I picked she had already went ahead did it. This wasn't the first time were she told me to pick out music and not use it. Lets say I was a little pissed. But Im over it, sort of. But me thinks that I wont do any more things for her from now on. But thats going to be hard for me because Im a people pleaser. Its really going to be hard. But I don't know...

In my failed attempts of doing the feared Gospels and Acts paper, a ghost came up from the floor. It was the ghost White himself. He told me tales of adventure and danger that he got in with Bro, they were the best of friends. He also told me on how he met his fate. He was over seeing the construction of this very library. Then out of no where the card catolog fell on him with Bro right there, watching. On the lost of his best friend, Bro cried a thousnd tears for his departed friend and brother. So that was the story of the ghost of Hugh White and the why the Library uses the electronic card catolog.

Anyway, I wrote this because I have been in the computer lab for the last 2.5 hours and have done nothing... Oh well

Well it's now December 11 and we finally have snow. Well we had snow... but it left and now its back again. But knowing the luck of Michigan it will be gone by 12:00 pm no more then 9 hours from now. Oh well, at least I got to walk through it tonight. I love the snow!!! I wish I lived in a wonderful winter wounder land. (there sure was a lot of W's there) And its not the cold tonight also. If I could have my way it would be 36 degrees and snowing all the time. Call me crazy but I love it.

Im getting ready for the coming break and semester ending. Everything is getting done and hopefully I will be able keep some of sanity. I got an A on my Gospels and Acts test and after I freaked out hardcore Monday night. I also tried out for Wellspring today and I think it went pretty good. Now its up to God now to see if I get in or not. If you recall the previous journal entry I spoke of not being sure whether or not I wanted to try out or not. Then I examand the things or thing that cause me the most internal struggle and figured that it was a really stupid reason to hold back... and if you REALLY know me you know what kind of strugle that was...;)

Life never ceases to amaze me. Things come out of nowhere and take you off guard, especially when you aren't expecting it... I think that makes sense? I think im finding myself in the same boat as some of my close friends. I always thought "I don't get how they can do it... I can never see myself doing that..." It's like the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again. Its safe to say that life is never dull in my little world.

Now to to my title. I am currently listening to Elliott Smith. He was a musician whos life was tragically cut short. He grew up in a broken home and as an adult he suffered from a alcholism and drug addiction. His is songs were dark talking about loniness and broken relationships. After a failed suicide attempt he checked himself into a hospital. After recieving help, he got better and became a happier person. In 2003, his live in girl-friend found him dead from an "apparent self-inflicted" stab wound to the chest. He was 34. Its just sad to see a talented musician like Elliott took his life when things were finally looking good for him. But there are some out there think that he didn't do it... but thats just a conspricy theory. This goes out to you Elliott...

Well its that time of the year. I have to make my mind on somethings. I don't know what to do... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.(:o) There is Wellspring in one corner and stuff at the other... Who will win. Im not made for this kind of stuff. I hope whatever it is, it will be the right one. IF you don't know it by now, Im a people pleaser and my mom is not helping the matters. Oh well. And there is some other things also... so who knows.

If I were any animal ever I think I would be a Puma. Thats right, a Puma. They are agile sweet, so sorta like myself. And they have a clothing line named after them. And in a fight between a puma and Big Foot, the puma will dominate the battlefield. Big Foot will be "You are, by far the superior species." and the puma will be like "I know B! Shabam!" Then Big Foot will go and cry to himself. Even those lazy sloaths will make fun of the Big Foot and how wussy he is. And thats the reason why Big Foot hides out in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, because of his shame.

So its off to bed with me... Look forward to the next entry which will be the story of the 4 magical donkeys of the Swiss Alps

Well, I just erased all of what I just wrote... So here is the Cliff Notes of that.

No one comments on journals unless you are pissing and moaning about things. I know this because Im the King of pissing and moaning. I have refined the art of complaining... and so on.

Second of all. Woke up and was sick and tired because 4 of my friends were in a hardcore car accident (all are just fine, but achy. God is good!!!) And my roomate went out to help them out. So I was worried about them and Stephen. If given half a chance, worrying would rule my life and almost does. So I was up till 3:30. Hanging of the Greens was today. I played and sang at this event. Talk about having to be in 2 places at once. Band was practicing at one place and choir was practicing at another place, at the same time. But all in all it went well. Then there was a fireworks show after that. But it was more like fireworks announcement. It was really short. There was the tuition hike going up in the air and exploding. Oh well.

Things as a whole are good. Im still trying to get some things sorted out. Come to the Christmas program at Western High at 7:00 to see me and the wonderful Paul Moody play a scene from a certain Charles Dickins piece.
